What to add to your music collection?

I was just thinking about some of the artists that have really influenced my life through music. Anything from hype music that is full of bass, praise and worship, Choir Music, and the like.

Well here is a list of artists just off the top of my head and a generalized style of music. Look them up see if you can listen to them on the net or borrow someone else's before you decide to purchase.

Kim Burrell - Jazzy, Praise and Worship

CeCe Winan - Praise and Worship, Mainstream

Commissioned - from Old School to new School (If you like Fred Hammond, Keith Staten, Marvin Sapp, Mitchell Jones the older the better and if you like Agee and Marcus Cole try the newer. Personally I love them all. They really ministered to me as an unsaved teenager.)

The Winans - Old School

Greater Emmanuel - Choir (Karen Clark's Church Choir)

Mattie Moss Clark - Old school choir most of her songs are on COGIC convention recordings the older the better.

The Clark Sisters - Female Group (together or solo projects)

Yolanda Adams - Mainstream - I really love the OLD stuff.

Dawkins and Dawkins - hype

Milton Brunson and the Tommies - Choir

Hezekiah Walker - choir love the old stuff

Reed's Temple - Choir

Born Again Mass Choir - Choir

New Birth Total Praise Choir - Choir

Vanessa Bell Armstrong - Praise and worship, jazzy, old school

William Murphy - good mixture of styles mostly praise and worship

Tye Tribbett & GA - New School and Old School

Kirk Franklin - Mixture of styles (don't forget about the family, NuNation, God's Property)

Donnie McClurkin - Old School Praise and Worship (solo or with the McClurkins)

Natalie Wilson and SOP - Hip Hop Choir - New School (there is also music under just the choir name Sounds of Praise Chorale)

Deitrick Haddon and Voices of Unity - new school

Damita Haddon - solo new school and mainstream

Fred Hammond & RFC - some of everything - his solo albums are great also

Mitchell Jones - not only a song writer but a great singer

Keith Staten - Praise and worship

Marvin Sapp - Praise and worship

Marcus Cole - Contemporary

Agee - Contemporary

Lexi - Praise and worship, Contemporary

Lashun Pace - Bluesy, (if that's a word), Old school,
