This blog has evolved from a gospel music review to all things me. I'm going to continue reviewing gospel music but I will also share other things that are part of my life including but not limited to the Word of God, natural hair, current events, product reviews, etc.
What I love about gospel music is when it strengthens the spirit as well as uplifts. My favorite artists?? Whew! There are too many...but probably my top ones right now are Byron Cage, Martha Munizzi, Take 6, The Clark Sisters (you have to have them as a FAV)...OMG! There are so many more...
If I could have my own personal concert, who would I have??? Hmm! Three hours, huh? First, I would have either Steve Harvey or Jonathan Slocumb to act as MC. I would have Tye Tribbett open the concert up, then bring out Yolanda Adams to move the crowd. Fred Hammond could do his thing for a minute. I would love to hear BeBe & CeCe (or even CeCe & Whitney, if her voice could hang) come out at the beginning of the second half. Donnie McClurkin and Marvin Winans HAVE to be on the show!! Martha Munizzi has to bring the spirit along with Byron Cage. To finish it out though, I would want Kirk!
