I Found Inspiration

I am inspired to pursue
I am inspired to continue
I am inspired to pick up the discarded

Not by perfection but by diligence and determination
By the potential and vision of a black man
Forgotten by some
Discarded by others
Underestimated and oppressed
But the black man that knows his potential and doesn’t hide from it
He embraces it
Chases it
And overcomes it
He is yet the hunter
But now hunts in the pursuit of his happiness in a land that they say is not his
Even though it was built with his back, blood, and tears
In you I found Inspiration
I am inspired by you THE BLACK MAN
